Quarter vellum and cloth. Gilt title on the spine and on the front cloth. Circular decoration in gilt on the lower front cover. Some soiling to the spine, edges of the cloth is a bit faded. There is some minor fraying to the cloth where it overlaps the vellum edge. Top page edges are soiled. Very light soiling to the endpapers. Former owner bookplate to the front pastedown. A very solid, tight copy of a very scarce book by Whitehead, an Englishman who founded the Byrdcliffe Arts and Crafts Colony in Woodstock, NY and an important proponent of the Arts and Crafts movement in America. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 179 pages
