Published 3 years after the first edition of this classic. A rare book. Text in Latin. Could be the original binding or early eighteenth century, endpapers are quite old but are more contemporary than 1630. Full calf, 4 raised bands on spine, gilt lettering, gilt lines hand done, not precisely straight, illustrated with two full page engravings and a decorative title page. Four leaves torn out: 127-132 and 195-6; 3 of these pages were engravings. Corners are worn to show boards, spine ends chipped, leather splitting along front edge of spine and a bit at each end of rear edge, however joints remain firm. Missing one rear endpaper, front endpapers have Latin writing and bookplates on them, also title and first and last pages have a bit of writing.; [Heliotropium or Conformity of the Human Will with the Divine].; Engravings; 32mo; 466 pages
